Be Transformed

There’s something I’ve learned and I’m learning it deeper every single day: you do not have to be held captive by your thoughts.

Most mornings, when I wake up, there’s that tiny moment before my awareness fully lands. A neutral space.

But the moment I “arrive,” the enemy tries it.
A whisper.
A worry.
A seed of fear.
A thought that doesn’t belong to me.

And I’ve learned to recognise it instantly.

Not every thought that enters your mind is yours.
Not every feeling that rises belongs to you.
And hear me clearly – fear never comes from your Father God.
God does not give fear.
The only fear that shows up in your mind is from the enemy, not from God.

So now, when that happens, I don’t entertain it.
I don’t negotiate with it.
I don’t analyse it.

I reject it in the name of Jesus (out loud) and then I begin to thank God.

Because gratitude shifts the atmosphere.
Praise breaks the fog.
Truth realigns the mind.

And this morning, as I thanked God for the new day, the breeze, the peace, the simple gift of breath… the scripture dropped into my spirit:

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
(Romans 12:2)

And I felt strongly that someone out there needs this today.

You Don’t Have to Accept Every Thought

Listen! you have a choice.
You don’t have to be are a prisoner to your thoughts.
You are not a victim of your mind.

Jesus Himself said:

“I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy… nothing will harm you.”
(Luke 10:19)

Authority.
Not weakness.
Not survival.
Authority.

You may not feel strong, but you are strong.
Because the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you.

And as someone beautifully wrote:

“The Holy Spirit isn’t in you because He has nowhere else to go.”

He’s not homeless.
He chose you.
You were predestined to be His.

Joint‑Heirs With Christ – Walk Like It

And let me add this, because it’s huge:
you are a joint‑heir with Christ (joint‑heirs with Christ).

Romans 8:17 says it plainly – everything Jesus has access to, you have access to.
The authority He walked in, you walk in.
The victory He won, you stand in.

And look at how Jesus dealt with Satan in the wilderness (Jesus in the wilderness):

He didn’t panic.
He didn’t negotiate.
He didn’t crumble.

He simply said:

“It is written.”

Three temptations.
Three declarations of Scripture.
And Satan left Him.

That’s your pattern.
That’s your weapon.
That’s your inheritance.

When the enemy whispers, you answer with the Word.
When he lies, you respond with truth.
When he pushes, you stand your ground.

Because you’re not fighting for victory – you’re fighting from victory, as a joint‑heir with the King.

Satan Is Defeated – Full Stop.

Colossians 2:15 says Jesus disarmed the powers of darkness.

David Guzik puts it plainly:

“Demonic spirits only have power towards us that we grant them by believing their lies.”

Their only weapons now are:
• deception
• fear

That’s it.

And those weapons only work if we agree with them.

Isaiah 54:17 says:

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper.”

Notice it doesn’t say the weapon won’t form.
It says it won’t prosper.

The enemy will try.
He will whisper.
He will push.
He will attempt to devour.

But he cannot devour you.

You are a child of the living God.

Intentional Faith – Your Mindset Matters

I spent years anxious about everything.
Fearful.
Overthinking.
No peace.

Encouraging others while drowning inside myself.

But intentional faith changed everything
(renewing the mind).

Faith doesn’t “just happen.”
You choose it.
You practice it.
You speak it.
You walk it.

You decide.

As for me: “I’m tired of being beaten down. I’m taking God at His Word.”

Most of the things we fear never even happen.
But the enemy laughs because we do his work for him – running with thoughts he only had to plant once.

Not anymore.

Not for me.
And not for you.

You Are Royalty – Start Walking Like It

When the prodigal son returned, the father didn’t lecture him.
He clothed him.
He restored him.
He celebrated him.

That’s what God did for you.

You moved from poverty to inheritance.
From fear to authority.
From weakness to strength.

You are:
• the head and not the tail
• above and not beneath
• a royal priesthood
• a child of the King

So why let a defeated enemy dictate your day?

This Is Bigger Than You

Yes, you’ll still be saved even if you live beaten down.
But the world needs you awake.
Alive.
Walking in authority.
Walking in truth.

Jesus said:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
(John 14:6)

There are people dying without Him.
People who need the hope you carry.
People who need the light in you.

People who are otherwise going to hell.

Don’t let the enemy silence you by attacking your mind.

What Are You Saying to Yourself?

My old pastor used to ask:

“What are you saying to yourself?”

Is your inner language:
• faith?
• or fear?
• truth?
• or lies?

You’re either agreeing with God
or agreeing with the enemy.

Choose life.
Choose truth.
Choose intentional faith.

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind by starting – Today.

If you want to go deeper into this truth (that fear is a lie and your salvation is secure) – Brian Romero wrote something that hits the nail on the head. It carries the same essence of what I’ve shared here.

I would love for this space to become more interactive as we walk together in faith. If there are subjects you’d like to explore from a Christian perspective, or if you have prayer needs for yourself, your family, or your friends, please feel free to reach out.

You can send a private message through the site — these are confidential and not visible to anyone else. The only exception would be if a safeguarding concern were raised; in that case, it may need to be passed on to the appropriate agency or person, as you would expect.

Above all, I want to ensure that what is shared here reflects what the Lord desires to say. Sometimes the “signal” of life can get in the way, and your feedback helps me stay prayerful, discerning, and aligned with His heart. Beginning a Journey With Jesus — click to open

If you’re exploring the Christian faith or wondering what it means to follow Jesus, you’re in the right place. Beginning a journey with Him is the most life‑changing decision a person can make — and it’s open to everyone.

Below is a simple explanation of the gospel message, followed by a prayer you can use if you feel ready to invite Jesus into your life.

A Brief Summary of the Gospel Message:

  • God created you for relationship with Him.
  • Sin — the things we do wrong — separates us from God.
  • We cannot fix this separation by our own efforts.
  • Jesus, God’s Son, came to earth, lived without sin, and died on the cross to take our place.
  • He rose again, defeating sin and death.
  • Through Jesus, we can be forgiven, restored, and made new.
  • Salvation is a gift — received by faith, not earned by good works.
  • When we accept Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to live within us and begins transforming our lives.
  • We become children of God, with a new identity and a new future.

A Simple Prayer to Begin Your Journey:

“Lord Jesus, I come to You today because I want to know You. I admit that I have sinned and fallen short, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for me and rose again so that I could be made new. Today, I choose to turn away from my old life and follow You. Please come into my heart, fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and help me to live for You from this day forward. Thank You for loving me, forgiving me, and making me Your child. Amen.”

What to Do Next:

1. Find a Local Church
Look for a Bible‑believing church in your area. Speak to the pastor or leadership team and let them know about the commitment you’ve made. They will be able to support you, pray with you, and help you grow.

2. Consider the Alpha Course
I strongly recommend the Alpha Course, which runs worldwide. It’s a safe, friendly place to explore questions about life, the Christian faith, and God — whether you’re brand new or simply curious.

Visit the Alpha Course website

3. Reach Out if You’d Like Support
If you’d like prayer, have questions, or want to talk privately, you can send a confidential message through the site. Nothing you share will be visible to others. The only exception is if a safeguarding concern is raised — in that case, it may need to be passed on to the appropriate agency or person, as you would expect.
