Thanks for joining me!
After a lot of prayer and contemplation, I have decided that I should step out of the boat again and recommence my blog writing.
Between 2009 and 2012, I used blogging as a platform to share words, reflections, and thoughts that God laid on my heart — to encourage, challenge, and motivate my brothers and sisters in Christ from a Christian perspective.
For a season, I felt it was right to stop writing. But over time, I have sensed the Lord gently nudging me to pick up the gauntlet again. So here I am, stepping back into the fold — hopefully a little wiser for some of the experiences I’ve walked through during my wilderness years.
I also want to mention that while there may be times when I post frequently, there will also be weeks when I may not post at all. Everything I share here will be based on what I genuinely feel the Lord wants to say in that moment. Some posts may be short, others longer — it all depends on His leading.
If you’d like to know more about how to interact, share thoughts, or request prayer, I encourage you to click on the “Note from Brother Don” dropdown below. It explains how you can reach out privately and how we can walk this journey together.
In all that is said…
v21. but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21 – New Living Translation).
v1. My dear friends, don’t believe everything you hear. Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you. Not everyone who talks about God comes from God. There are a lot of lying preachers loose in the world. (1 John 4:1 – The Message – MSG).

I would love for this space to become more interactive as we walk together in faith. If there are subjects you’d like to explore from a Christian perspective, or if you have prayer needs for yourself, your family, or your friends, please feel free to reach out.
You can send a private message through the site — these are confidential and not visible to anyone else. The only exception would be if a safeguarding concern were raised; in that case, it may need to be passed on to the appropriate agency or person, as you would expect.
Above all, I want to ensure that what is shared here reflects what the Lord desires to say. Sometimes the “signal” of life can get in the way, and your feedback helps me stay prayerful, discerning, and aligned with His heart. Whether you simply read along or choose to share, I’m grateful you’re here.
